Meet Toby ...
 

Toby is a 10year old Maltese Terrier

Toby came into us with a large swelling on his jaw line, we ultrasounded and found it fluid filled…

We investigated the lump – you can see the x-ray and the swelling on the left side…

It turned out to be a salivary gland ‘mucocoele’ which is a rupture. The treatment is surgery and Toby was very brave..
He recovered uneventfully and was home with his owners the same evening. The one operation cured all the lumps Toby had so he is able to get on and enjoy life again!
