Meet Freddie...
 

Freddie was diagnosed with Diabetes a couple of years ago.

He is on daily injections of insulin and a special food to help control his blood sugar level.

Over a few mornings he became wobbly so his owners brought him to be examined.


After taking a sample of blood for a blood test, we found out that he was not responding to the dose of insulin he was getting.

We admitted him into hospital for a drip and to stabilise his blood sugar level, this involved testing his blood every hour to get a curve
After a few days he went home and we are continuing to monitor him weekly.
Diabetes is a lifelong problem, Freddie is very lucky to have dedicated owners.
