Your
pets teeth need brushing too!!
We held a 'Pet Smile' Month in February
, our nurses invited pets to come in for a FREE dental check,
advice on looking after their teeth and a demonstration
on teeth brushing.
All participants got a FREE dental
goodie bag.
Follow these three steps to a brighter
smile......
|
STEP 1
VISIT YOUR VET
Every regular exam in our clinic includes a thorough dental
exam. If we find signs of disease, we will recommend a
treatment plan. It is important for the overall health
of your pet that we take carte of any dental problems
we find.
We will also recommend a home care plan that is a key
part of keeping your pet healthy. |
STEP 2
START AN ORAL CARE ROUTINE AT HOME
Plaque should be removed from your pets teeth every day
before it mineralises into tartar.
Brushing your pets teeth properly each day will remove
plaque build-up. In addition, you can feed a specially
formulated food that helps reduce the accumulation of
plaque and tartar from teeth.
Ask us about the best methods of home care for your pet. |
STEP 3
SCHEDULE REGULAR DENTAL CHECK-UPS
We monitor the progress of your pets preventive program;
so regular dental check-ups are essential. For pets that
form tartar quickly or those with a history of oral problems,
frequent examinations and cleaning may be advised. |
